Lab 11. EIGRP – Redistribution – RIP

Dilab ini ita akan menghubungkan antar routing protokol dengan menggunakan Reditribute. Pertama buat ip yang akan diadvertise ke RIP yang kemudian di redistribute ke EIGRP.

Router-1(config)#int loopback 0

Router-1(config-if)#ip address 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.255

Router-1(config)#int loopback 1

Router-1(config-if)#ip add 100.100.100.100 255.255.255.255

Advertise ke RIP

Router-1(config)#router rip

Router-1(config-router)#version 2

Router-1(config-router)#network 100.100.100.100

Router-1(config-router)#network 1.1.1.1

Router-1(config-router)#no auto-summary

Router-1(config-router)#ex

Redistribute ke dalam EIGRP

Router-1(config)#router eigrp 10

Router-1(config-router)#redistribute rip

Kita Cek terlebih dahulu di R3

Router-3#show ip route eigrp
      12.0.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets
D       12.12.12.0 [90/28416] via 23.23.23.2, 00:31:40, FastEthernet0/0

Setelah kita coba, network 100.100.100.100 dan 1.1.1.1 tidak kelihatan. Kenapa ? karena metricnya belum diset.

Router-1(config)#router eigrp 10

Router-1(config-router)#redistribute rip metric 1 1 1 1 1

Secara metric berbeda namun secara fungsi dan jalannya routing tidak aka nada bedanya karena sifatnya eksternal route. Yang penting metricnya harus diisi, berapapun nilainya tidak ada pengaruhnya.

Cek di R3

Router-3#sh ip route eigrp

      1.0.0.0/32 is subnetted, 1 subnets
D EX     1.1.1.1 [170/2560005376] via 23.23.23.2, 00:06:47, FastEthernet0/0
      2.0.0.0/32 is subnetted, 1 subnets

Kita cek juga menggunakan ping

Router-3#ping 100.100.100.100
